Activities
Community and recreational activities are important components of our service approach. Constructive use of leisure time is viewed as essential for a healthy reintegration into society.
Indoor and outdoor sports and additional recreational options are available. Other Group activities include ethnic festivals, family picnics, group outings, theater and dance performances, museum visits, weekend car washes, and community fairs.
New Life Center's clients and staff are very active in community service efforts, which help to inform the public about the agency's services. Community service is required of all New Life Center residents, providing them with a positive introduction to local agencies and organizations. Community contributions offer the public a positive experience and help to transform perceptions regarding substance abusers. ability to change. New Life Center is located in an area where public transportation is easily accessable to any location in the San Francisco Bay Area.
